The Begonia Draco is a magnificently dramatic and awe-inspiring cane begonia of quite exceptional size and presence, producing enormous, asymmetric, wing-shaped leaves of a deep, olive-green upper surface dramatically spotted with silver and backed by a rich, blood-red underside that flashes with startling intensity whenever the leaves catch the light or a breeze. One of the largest and most imposing of all the cane begonias, it builds over time into a truly spectacular and architectural specimen of considerable height and drama, producing cascading clusters of delicate pale pink flowers that provide a wonderfully soft and romantic contrast to the bold, dragon-like foliage from which it takes its evocative name.
