The Mini Alocasia Scalprum is a wonderfully unusual and botanically fascinating jewel alocasia from the Philippines, producing narrow, deeply keeled, lance-shaped leaves of a rich, glossy dark green with a remarkably thick, almost leathery texture and a distinctive, blade-like form that is quite unlike any other alocasia in cultivation. The unusually rigid, sculptural leaves and compact, upright habit give it a wonderfully architectural and almost prehistoric quality that makes it an outstanding and highly conversation-worthy addition to any jewel alocasia collection. A genuinely rare and intriguing species that rewards the attentive collector with a plant of quite exceptional character and botanical distinction.
