The Philodendron Scandens Micans is a velvety-leaved trailing beauty with heart-shaped foliage in deep olive-green with a bronze, iridescent sheen. Each leaf catches the light differently, making it one of the most tactile and visually captivating houseplants around. Let it trail from a shelf or climb a moss pole — either way, it's a showstopper.

Care Guide:

Light: Bright to medium indirect light — avoid direct sun which can bleach the velvety leaves
Water: Allow the top inch of soil to dry between waterings; reduce in winter
Humidity: High humidity preferred — mist regularly or use a humidifier nearby
Temperature: 18–25°C; keep away from cold draughts and radiators
Feeding: Feed with a balanced liquid fertiliser every 2–4 weeks during spring and summer
Soil: Well-draining, airy potting mix with added perlite or orchid bark
