Tillandsia usneoides, commonly known as Spanish Moss, is an ethereal air plant that cascades in delicate, silvery-green strands. This rootless epiphyte doesn't require soil and absorbs moisture and nutrients directly from the air, making it wonderfully versatile for hanging displays, terrariums, or draped arrangements. Its wispy, romantic appearance brings a touch of the wild South to any space.
Care Guide:
- Light: Bright, indirect light or filtered sun; tolerates some shade
- Water: Mist thoroughly 2-3 times per week; soak for 10 minutes weekly
- Humidity: Moderate to high (50%+); thrives in naturally humid environments
- Temperature: 10-32°C; very adaptable to temperature fluctuations
- Soil: None required; grows without soil as an epiphyte
- Feeding: Optional; diluted bromeliad or orchid feed monthly during growing season

An easy to care for but great looking plant.
Beautiful moss! Easy to spray everyday or so and soak once a week. Get it off the metal holder because it reacts with it. I used some hemp string off one of my macrame hangers. I wouldn't put it in a glass globe either, it needs air flow and diffused light. Easy so far!
Weird and wonderful, alot bigger than I thought it would be
Love this. So easy to keep , hardly any care required. This is my third spanish moss.
