The Philodendron Squamiferum x Serpens is a rare and exciting hybrid combining two of the most characterful and tactilely fascinating philodendrons, inheriting the deeply lobed, oak-leaf-like foliage of the Squamiferum and the velvety, dark green leaf texture and hairy petioles of the Serpens to create a plant of quite exceptional character and botanical intrigue. The distinctive red, bristly petioles and deeply cut, velvety leaves give this hybrid a wonderfully wild and prehistoric quality that makes it an outstanding and increasingly sought-after addition to any serious philodendron collection. A genuinely exciting and unusual hybrid that offers something truly different for the discerning collector.
