The Begonia Escargot is a truly mesmerising foliage plant, named for the distinctive snail-shell spiral pattern at the centre of each leaf. With its swirling silver and deep green markings, this mini gem is a conversation-starter on any shelf or desk — a tiny plant with enormous personality.

Care Guide:

Light: Bright, indirect light; avoid direct sun which can scorch the leaves
Water: Allow the top layer of soil to dry between waterings; avoid waterlogging and wetting the leaves
Humidity: Moderate to high humidity; avoid misting directly — use a pebble tray instead
Temperature: 16–24°C; keep away from cold draughts
Feeding: Half-strength liquid fertiliser every 4 weeks during spring and summer
Soil: Light, well-draining mix; a peat-free blend with added perlite works well
