The Hoya Wibergiae is a wonderfully charming and relatively little-known hoya of considerable botanical interest and collector appeal, producing slender, trailing stems clothed in small, narrow, lance-shaped leaves of a rich, deep green with a pleasingly glossy surface and a delicate, refined appearance that gives the plant an elegant, airy quality quite distinct from the bolder, larger-leaved hoyas. When it blooms it produces clusters of small, perfectly formed star-shaped flowers of a soft, creamy white with a delicate pink corona, carried in neat umbels that are as charming and sweetly fragrant as any in the genus. A superb and rewarding hoya for the collector who appreciates the quieter, more refined end of the genus, and a plant that repays patient cultivation with a display of considerable delicacy and beauty.
