The Hoya Verticillata Lampung is a wonderfully distinctive and botanically fascinating hoya from the Lampung region of Sumatra, producing long, trailing stems clothed in narrow, lance-shaped leaves arranged in neat whorls around the stem in the characteristic verticillate pattern that gives the species its name, creating a wonderfully architectural and rhythmic display of deep green foliage of considerable elegance and collector appeal. The whorled leaf arrangement gives it a quite unique and immediately recognisable appearance that sets it apart from virtually every other hoya in cultivation, while the long, trailing habit makes it an outstanding and eye-catching choice for hanging pots and elevated displays. When it blooms it produces clusters of small, perfectly formed star-shaped flowers of a soft white to pale pink with a contrasting corona, adding a delicate and sweetly fragrant floral display to the already exceptional foliage.
