The Tradescantia Red Jewel is a dazzling trailing plant with rich burgundy and deep purple foliage that shimmers with a metallic sheen. Its fast-growing vines create a dramatic cascading effect, making it perfect for hanging baskets or elevated displays where its jewel-toned leaves can be fully appreciated. This low-maintenance beauty adds bold colour and movement to any space.

Care Guide:

Light: Bright, indirect light; some direct sun intensifies the red colouration
Water: Keep soil lightly moist; water when top 2-3cm feels dry
Humidity: Average to high (50-70%); adapts well to typical indoor conditions
Temperature: 15-24°C; protect from cold drafts and sudden temperature changes
Soil: Well-draining, general-purpose potting mix
Feeding: Every 4-6 weeks during growing season with diluted balanced fertiliser
