The Mini Hoya Mathilde Splash is a wonderfully charming and delightfully speckled hybrid hoya, producing small, rounded, fleshy leaves of a fresh, bright green dramatically splashed and speckled with irregular flecks and spots of silvery-white to pale grey that are scattered freely across the glossy leaf surface in a spontaneous, painterly pattern of considerable freshness and collector appeal. A hybrid between Hoya Carnosa and Hoya Serpens, it combines the easy-going, drought-tolerant character of the Carnosa with the compact, fine-leaved delicacy of the Serpens, resulting in a wonderfully rewarding and thoroughly unfussy little hoya that is as easy to care for as it is beautiful to look at. When it blooms it produces clusters of small, perfectly formed, sweetly fragrant star-shaped flowers of a soft white to pale pink, adding a delicate and charming floral display to the already appealing speckled foliage. A superb and increasingly popular hoya in a perfectly petite mini size.
