The Epiphyllum, affectionately known as the Orchid Cactus, is a show-stopping trailing plant that produces some of the most spectacular blooms in the plant kingdom. Unlike desert cacti, this epiphytic species originates in the lush rainforest canopy, cascading gracefully from its pot with flat, fleshy stems. Come flowering season, it rewards patient growers with large, vivid blooms in shades of pink, red, orange or white — a truly breathtaking display. Light: Bright, indirect light — avoid harsh direct sun which can scorch the stems
