The Crassula Obliqua is a wonderfully architectural and satisfyingly substantial succulent, producing thick, fleshy, broadly oval leaves of a rich, glossy jade-green that stack and arrange themselves along sturdy, branching stems in a bold, sculptural display of considerable presence and enduring decorative appeal. A close relative of the much-loved Jade Plant, it shares the same wonderfully robust and long-lived character but with a slightly more open, branching habit and broader, more generously proportioned leaves that give it a pleasingly bold and substantial appearance. Extraordinarily drought-tolerant, virtually indestructible and capable of living for decades with minimal care, it is one of the most rewarding and satisfying succulents available for the home.
