The Aeschynanthus Lipstick 'Tiger' is a striking trailing plant, combining the classic lipstick plant's vibrant tubular blooms with beautifully mottled, tiger-striped foliage. Its cascading stems make it ideal for hanging baskets or high shelves, where its dramatic leaves and vivid flowers can be fully appreciated. A real conversation starter and a wonderful addition to any plant collection.
Care Guide:
- Light: Bright, indirect light; some morning sun is beneficial to encourage flowering
- Water: Allow the top inch of soil to dry between waterings; reduce watering in winter
- Humidity: Enjoys moderate to high humidity; mist occasionally or place near a humidifier
- Temperature: 18–27°C; avoid cold draughts and temperatures below 15°C
- Feeding: Feed fortnightly during spring and summer with a high-potassium fertiliser to promote flowering
- Soil: Light, well-draining potting mix; an orchid or epiphyte mix works well
