The Peperomia Red Luna is a compact, eye-catching houseplant with deeply rippled, dark green leaves that blush with rich burgundy-red tones on the undersides — a moody, jewel-like contrast that looks stunning on a desk, shelf, or windowsill. Like all Peperomias, it stores water in its thick leaves, making it wonderfully forgiving if you occasionally forget to water. A brilliant choice for beginners, busy households, and anyone who loves a plant with real personality.

Care Guide:

Light: Low to bright indirect light — adapts well to shadier spots
Water: Allow the top half of the soil to dry out between waterings; less is more — overwatering is the main risk
Humidity: Average household humidity is fine; tolerates drier air well
Temperature: 15–25°C; keep away from cold draughts
Feeding: Feed monthly during spring and summer with a diluted balanced fertiliser
Soil: Well-draining potting mix; a perlite addition is beneficial
