The Hoya Bella 'Lida Buis' is a truly enchanting trailing wax plant, beloved for its delicate, star-shaped white flowers with a rosy-pink centre that appear in cascading clusters throughout the growing season. Its slender, arching stems are adorned with small, lance-shaped leaves that catch the light beautifully. Hang it in a bright spot and let it trail freely — when it blooms, the sweet, honey-like fragrance will stop you in your tracks.

Care Guide:

Light: Bright, indirect light — a few hours of gentle morning sun is ideal
Water: Allow the top half of the soil to dry out between waterings; reduce watering in winter
Humidity: Average to high humidity; tolerates normal household conditions well
Temperature: 15–27°C; keep away from cold draughts
Feeding: Feed monthly in spring and summer with a balanced liquid fertiliser; a high-potassium feed when budding encourages flowering
Soil: Fast-draining mix — a cactus or orchid bark blend works well
Note: Do not remove spent flower spurs — new blooms grow from the same spurs each year
